Hunt for food again

Why why why??? Why there are so many food there in Malaysia??? fml. Again Penang post about food. I am sory again, because once again I will make you hungry, make your stomach growling. This was the second day of trip and we were still non-stop eating, talking cock. Everything going well except Hang the weak one, not feeling well and taking some rest in the hotel and of course he miss out the fun. And later there were one more member joining the weak dumbass group.

Claypot chicken rice recommended by Chin. Taste not bad, but I prefer the one in Kampar. Normally, they won't put egg on the rice, but this stall put egg on top of the rice. Anyway, I like it.
Seriously, we really can whack a lot. Maybe this was the factor some of the member fall sick. Eating too many different food and mixing up in the stomach and putting out some watery shit for many times a day. YUCKS!!!
Pork Satay. First time I saw in my life. Non-halal lo...so sorry. Later on, Hang telling us some cock and bull story again about satay.

Ikan Bakar.

When you are visiting cendol is a must try food.
Especially this one near the komtar there. I forgotten the address already. But I am sure you can find this out by yourself. It was in a small street and there are few cendol stall there, but please find this to make sure you have the good one. Don't worry if you cant find it, the crowd there for sure will lead you to the stall naturally.

There are some kind of enjoyment when you having a icy cendol under a hot sun in a crowded street.
Just watch how fast the uncle preapring the cendol...
Thats the way to earn money. Uncle earning cash you know, don't play play. Uncle don't know got how many Benz in the garage.

Before leaving the hotel, we already asked the receptionist where was the best Nasi Kandar in Penang. Then we get an answer "Line Clear". And after few hundred step of journey we reached Line clear (near komtar).

Chin was rushing for Line Clear because he was staving the whole time.

And we reached the small alley there and we found it. LINE CLEAR NASI KANDAR.

Nasi Kandar is a popular Malaysian dish, which originates from Penang. It is a meal of steamed rice or nasi kunyit (yellowish rice), and served with a variety of curries and side dishes like fried chicken, curried spleen, cubed beef, fish roe, fried prawns or fried squid etc.The word Nasi Kandar, came about from a time when nasi vendors would kandar a pole on the shoulder with two huge containers of rice meals. It is just like a guy using a long pole to carry two big pail of rice and curry on his shoulder.

Keropok my favourite food. Can't eat without this. It was nice when dipping with the curry gravy.

My Nasi Kandar. I can't managed to finish it because the portion was quite big. Maybe I should't scoop to many rice and dishes at first. what a waste man!!!

Later on, we have our tea time at this place. I forgotten the name of the coffee shop already because what was in my mind that time was to eat as much as I can.

Very very famous Char Kuey Tiao (CKT). We wasted a lot of time to find out where is it. We ended up with hiring a cab to reach that place. Actually that place was just a stone throw from our hotel. The best things was just in front of us but we don't, we only knows the one which far away from us. Human nature. Actually, our stomach was still full when reached there, but we still trying our best to consume as much CKT as we can.

You know what. This CKT wasn't cheap. It cost about rm7 per plate, but you will find out that this quite to eat. The reason is there are really big prawn served. The CKT served with shelless big prawn (bigger than 50 cents). You can't find this in KL, unless the stall move to KL.

More more Penang food hunting post coming up. stay tuned. BREAKFAST AT PENANG HILL coming up.
